CHEO continually works to impact a better outcome of patient results, increase high deliverables of quality patient care while reducing the stress and fatigue of their Healthcare professionals.

With over 2,600 children and youths waiting for surgery in any given month, CHEO looked for ways to shorten these times by more efficient scheduling and use of its operating rooms. Working with Parkin Architects & Bradford Construction, CHEO created a large $10 million, renovation and redevelopment project of the Post Anaesthetic Care Units (PACU) and Day Care Surgery (DCS).

Defining the scope of works, Belroc created a comprehensive package that suited the 6 phase project. Having previously partnered with Bradford Construction, their site superintendents and project managers were more than happy to proceed with a team that had strong industry knowledge to move this vision through to reality.

Throughout the delivery of the CHEO redevelopment project, Belroc’s project management team used their industry knowledge to recommend the best solution, accommodate jobsite conditions and still deliver within the specified times.
